Swisscat Yachts was born from the vision of founder Jurg von Ins who, after having purchased Switch in 2005, rebranded the shipyard in 2007 to its current form, transforming it into a boutique semi-custom builder.

Having produced boats ranging from 48 to 55 feet up until 2019, when Philippe Chatel joined the company as the new CEO bringing in new architects and a younger team to lead the company into the future. In 2022 the shipyard moved to Italy and partnered with Bay srl under the supervision of Christian Paulitsch and Teodosio Auspici. Together the company has begun construction in late 2022 of their newest 55 flagship model.

In addition to the Swisscat brand, Precision was launched in 2021 using the same construction and design philosophy applied to day boats ranging from 34 to 45 feet. With the first model, the Precision 34, being launched in 2022, this new range of day cruisers has already attracted attention on the market.

With over 20 years’ experience, whether it be catamarans or motorboats, Swisscat continues to develop and produce new models over the years continuously working on new designs and looking for new technologies to implement for the owners. True to its philosophy and always working closely with the owners to develop their new dream boat, the shipyard is now preparing to expand the production line from 2024 onwards.
